U.S. crude oil futures edged up in very choppy trading on Tuesday,bouncing with Wall Street, despite earlier pressure from a strongerdollar, milder weather and ample oil inventories. U.S. stocks rose asinvestors bet that the Massachusetts Senate race results couldjeopardize President Barack Obama’s reform plans, especially those onhealthcare. Stocks also received a boost after Credit Suisse upgradedMcDonald’s Corp. Crude futures earlier were pressured as the euro fellto a four-week low against the dollar on concern about a decline inGerman investor sentiment and Greece’s public finances.
